Use this step-by-step demo to learn how to add gifs to Prezi.
  1. On the dashboard, click "Presentations" located on the left sidebar.
  2. Select which presentation you want to add the GIF to.
  3. Select which slide to use.
  4. Click the "Media" button from the top menu.
  5. Select the "GIF" button.
  6. Upload your GIF file or choose from recommendations.

📌 Why this matters

Adding GIFs transforms static slides into attention-grabbing moments that keep your audience engaged throughout your presentation. Beyond visual appeal, GIFs serve as powerful communication shortcuts—they can demonstrate processes, show before-and-after transformations, or convey emotions that static images simply can't capture. This becomes especially valuable in remote presentations where you're competing with distractions like email and social media. A well-placed animated element can recapture wandering attention and make complex concepts instantly digestible, turning your presentation from forgettable to memorable.
