This tutorial walks you through how to add Zendesk Chat to your website by navigating the Admin Center and copying the embed code from your messaging channel settings. Follow the steps below to configure your messaging channel and install the chat widget on any web page.
Steps
- Click on your Profile icon at the top-right corner of the Zendesk agent dashboard.
- Select View Profile from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to the main dashboard, then click Manage in Admin Center.
- In the Admin Center, tap the Channels icon on the left-side panel.
- Under Messaging and Social, click Messaging to proceed.
- Tap the specific messaging channel you want to add to your website.
- Configure the provided settings based on your preferences, then scroll down and click Installation.
- Click the Copy icon below the embed code to copy it to your clipboard.
- Click Save, then go to your website's backend to embed the Zendesk chat code.
