Use this interactive demo to learn how to generate multiple Canva designs at once using Bulk Create.

Quick summary

Canva's Bulk Create feature lets you generate multiple designs simultaneously by connecting a data source to your template elements. You can enter data manually or upload a dataset, link each field to a design element, and produce dozens of unique pages in a single click.

Steps

  1. On the edit toolbar, click the Apps option.
  2. Go to the Bulk Create tab to get started.
  3. Choose between entering your data manually or uploading your data.
  4. If entering data manually, fill in the data table that appears with the values you want.
  5. Click Done to proceed after entering your data.
  6. On your design page, right-click the element you want to connect to your data.
  7. Click the ellipses icon to access more options.
  8. Click Connect data from the options menu.
  9. Select the data field you want to connect the element to.
  10. Review how your text element looks after the data connection is applied.
  11. Click Generate designs once all elements are connected and your data is ready.
  12. Your bulk-created pages will open automatically in a new tab.

📌 Why this matters

Canva's Bulk Create feature is essential for marketers, educators, and content teams who need to produce large volumes of personalized designs without manual repetition. By connecting a structured dataset directly to template elements, users can generate dozens or hundreds of unique, on-brand designs in a single workflow. This eliminates the time-consuming process of editing individual slides or posts one by one, making it a critical productivity tool for campaigns, certificates, social media content, and more. Bulk Create in Canva bridges the gap between design scalability and visual consistency.
