Steps
- Start by creating an issue without assigning it to a team or cycle — save it as a Draft to use it as a personal to-do item until you're ready to take action.
- Click 'Save as draft' to store the issue in your Drafts queue.
- Navigate to 'Drafts' in your Linear sidebar to view all your saved draft issues.
- Click on a draft when you're ready to begin working on that issue.
- Add the important details to the issue, such as description, priority, or assignee.
- Click 'Create issue' to publish the draft as an active issue in your workflow.
