This demo shows how to integrate Coda with Google Calendar using a Zapier automation that automatically sends new calendar events into a Coda table as rows. Once configured, the Zap runs in the background so your Coda documents stay up to date without any manual data entry.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
- Click "Trigger" and search for Google Calendar as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event, such as "New Event" or "Event Start", to define what activates the Zap.
- Connect your Google Calendar account to authorize Zapier access.
- Choose which calendar to monitor for new events.
- Click "Test trigger" to verify that Zapier can pull in sample event data.
- Choose Coda as the destination app for your calendar data.
- Select an action event, such as "Create Row" or "Update Row", in Coda.
- Connect your Coda account to authorize Zapier access.
- Choose the specific Document and Table where calendar events will be stored.
- Run a test to confirm everything works correctly.
- Turn on your workflow to automatically send new Google Calendar events to Coda.
