Quick summary

Canva's collage maker lets you upload photos, arrange them on a canvas, apply filters and edits, and add text or stickers — all without any design experience. Once your collage is ready, you can share or download it directly from the editor in seconds.

Steps

  1. Choose a template or create a new design from the Canva homepage to use as your collage canvas.
  2. Click Uploads in the edit toolbar and upload the photos you want to include in your collage.
  3. Once uploaded, drag and drop your photos onto the canvas to place them.
  4. Select a photo and go to Edit photo to access filter and adjustment options.
  5. Apply filters or adjust the brightness and contrast of individual photos as needed.
  6. Resize and rearrange your photos on the canvas until the layout looks the way you want.
  7. Add text, shapes, stickers, or other design elements to enhance your collage.
  8. When you're satisfied, click the Share button to save or export your finished collage.

📌 Why this matters

Canva is the leading browser-based graphic design platform used by millions of creators, marketers, and small business owners to produce professional visuals without needing design skills. Its collage maker combines drag-and-drop photo editing, built-in filters, and a vast template library into a single intuitive workflow — making it the fastest way to turn raw photos into polished, shareable collages. Whether you're creating social media content, photo gifts, or marketing materials, Canva's collage feature removes the technical barriers that traditionally slow down visual content creation. This makes it an essential tool for anyone who needs high-quality image layouts quickly and consistently.
