Steps
- Click Create Survey in the top right corner of the SurveyMonkey dashboard after logging in.
- Choose a survey creation option from the available starting points.
- Select a prompt from the provided choices to guide the AI in building your survey.
- Click the airplane icon to send your prompt and proceed to survey generation.
- Review the automatically generated survey and click Continue to make edits.
- Give your survey a clear, descriptive survey title so respondents understand its purpose.
- Navigate to the Build tab in the survey builder to review and edit your questions.
- Click the Options tab to customize your survey settings.
- Click Preview to see how the survey will appear and function for respondents before publishing.
- Click Next to move to the response collection setup after finalizing your survey design.
- Choose a collector to determine how you will gather responses from your audience.
- Generate a survey link and distribute it via email, social media, or website embed.
- Go to the Analyze Results tab to view charts, summaries, and individual responses once replies are collected.
- Confirm your distribution method and share the survey — it is now published and live to collect responses.
