Use this interactive demo to learn how to sync YouTube channel statistics into a Coda doc.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows you how to track YouTube analytics inside a Coda doc by installing the YouTube pack and syncing your channel statistics into a live table. Once connected, your YouTube account data updates automatically so you can monitor performance without leaving Coda.

Steps

  1. Inside your Coda doc, head to the top-right corner and click Insert.
  2. In the search bar, type YouTube to find the YouTube pack.
  3. Scroll down to the More Tables section, select Channel Statistics, and drag it into your main workspace.
  4. Click Add to Doc For Free to add the YouTube pack to your document.
  5. Click Connect an Account and log into your YouTube Studio account.
  6. Read the terms and click Continue to grant the necessary permissions.
  7. Tap Complete Setup to finish the account connection.
  8. Click Choose What to Sync to specify the metrics you want to pull in.
  9. In the right-side panel, configure your settings and set the Day Start and Day End for your date range.
  10. Click Sync Now to pull your data into Coda.
  11. Your YouTube analytics will now appear in the Channel Statistics table, ready for ongoing tracking.

📌 Why this matters

Tracking YouTube analytics directly inside Coda eliminates the need to switch between YouTube Studio and your project management workspace. By syncing channel statistics into a Coda table, content teams can monitor views, subscribers, and engagement metrics alongside their editorial calendars and workflows. This integration makes it easy to build custom reports, set date ranges, and keep YouTube performance data visible to everyone on the team. For creators and marketers who already use Coda to plan content, this is the fastest way to centralize YouTube data without any third-party tools.
