In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to track your billable hours to organize your client projects.

‍

  1. In your FreshBooks dashboard, click the Time Tracking tab in the left sidebar.
  2. View project-specific time entries to understand where your hours are invested.
  3. Click the + New Entry field located in the center of the page.
  4. In the first dropdown menu, select the Client or Project you are working on.
  5. In the Service box, enter the type of work performed. 
  6. In the Note box, enter a brief description of your task.
  7. Set your start time to capture every billable minute accurately.‍
  8. Click the green checkmark button to the right of your entry to save it to your timeline.
